Behavioral Health Provider

MeMD is seeking licensed behavioral health providers (BHPs), including: psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health nurse practitioners, social workers, counselors and therapists interested in joining our team of Telemedicine Providers.

MeMD provides medical and behavioral health consultations online across the United States for patients with low-acuity conditions. Our mental health providers treat anxiety, stress, depression, grief, trauma, obsessive or addictive behaviors, and relational issues. MeMD operates 24/7 and services all 50 states including the District of Columbia.

As a medical provider in our network, you can:
+ Work as an independent contractor
+ Set your own schedule
+ Be compensated per consultation; each visit lasts on average 45-60 minutes
+ Receive malpractice and liability insurance
+ Deliver quality treatment and medical advice to patients for low-acuity conditions
+ Adhere to MeMD’s clinical quality parameters and telemedicine practice guidelines
+ Comply with federal HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:
+ Licensed behavioral health therapist, counselor, social worker, nurse practitioner (NP), psychologist or psychiatrist
+ Active state license(s), NPI and DEA registration numbers (if applicable)
+ Strong communication and diagnosing skills
+ Familiarity with technology, including computers, smartphones, and tablets
+ Extensive clinical experience, including diagnosing patients online, is strongly preferred
