Goodstein is a board-certified clinical psychologist based in Scottsdale, AZ with over five decades of experience as an academic, a clinician, a consultant, and a manager. Len received his BS degree in Psychology from CCNY cum laude with Honors in Social Science, and his MA and PhD degrees in Psychology from Columbia University.
He interned at Hillside Hospital in Bellerose, NY and served on the faculties of Hofstra College, University of Iowa, University of Cincinnati, Vrijie Univeriseit (Netherlands), and Arizona State University, where he was Professor and department chair. He later was President and CEO of University Associates (now a subsidiary of John Wiley), then CEO and Executive Vice President of the American Psychological Association. For the past dozen years he has worked as an independent consulting and forensic psychologist and as part of the management teams of Professional Assessment Services and Solutions (PASS) and of Psychometrics LLC, a business that provides on-line pre-employment assessments.
Len is widely published, having authored or co-authored more than 200 articles and 25 books over his long career. He also has served as a consultant to a wide variety of businesses and organizations, including the Peace Corps, Hoechst Celanese, FDIC, British Airways, and Cathay Pacific Airways.
